Good for you, that's a good first car and the price sounds right. There are a ton of parts available for fox bodies so you will be in good shape. What engine does it have? Congratulations.
Sure it's relevant and useful. The only terms you need to put it in to explain it to neophytes is "It's faster than the Mustang GT500 and Boss 302 on the same track". That will sell some cars. Maybe not a ton more cars but we know that faster is better and that will equate to some buyers.
That is very amusing. The B-52B entered service in 1955. It had the taller tail. The clipped tail G model didn't enter service until 1959. The H (the aircraft model pictured) was in service by 1961.

Yup, not cheap. I just had to renew mine, my wife's...and get new ones for my four kids. Now THAT was a good chunk of change.

You forget that we were financing most of the rebuilding of Europe and Asia as well. This was in the late 40's and early 50's.
